Controller

Representa GmbH, In der Holle 27, 32791 Lage, Germany, email info@eu-representa.com, is the controller for the processing of personal data on this website.

Hosting and server log files

This website is hosted on a server in Germany. When you visit the site, the server records technical data in log files: IP address, date and time, requested page, browser type and operating system. The legal basis is Article 6(1)(f) GDPR, our legitimate interest in the secure and stable operation of the website. Log files are deleted after 14 days at the latest.

Fonts

The fonts used on this website are served from our own server. No connection to Google or any other third party is established when fonts are loaded.

Cookies and consent

We use analytics services that set cookies only if you agree in the cookie banner. Before that, your browser loads nothing from these services. The legal basis is your consent under Article 6(1)(a) GDPR and Section 25(1) of the German Telecommunications Digital Services Data Protection Act (TDDDG).

Your choice is saved in your browser (local storage) so that the banner does not appear on every page. This is strictly necessary (Section 25(2) no. 2 TDDDG). It contains only your choice and its date and is renewed after twelve months.

You can withdraw or change your consent at any time with effect for the future: click Cookie settings at the bottom of any page.

Google Analytics

If you agree to analytics, we use Google Analytics 4 from Google Ireland Limited to understand how the website is used: pages viewed, time on page, how you arrived (for example from a search engine), device type, browser and approximate location. Google Analytics does not store full IP addresses of users in the EU. We also count clicks on contact buttons, phone numbers and email addresses, and whether a contact or guide form was started and sent, with the product group, market and service selected. Your name, email address and message are never passed to Google.

Google Analytics sets cookies (_ga and _ga_ followed by an ID) that recognise your browser on later visits. They expire after two years at the latest. We keep the analytics data for 14 months; Google Signals and data sharing for advertising are switched off.

The legal basis is your consent under Article 6(1)(a) GDPR and Section 25(1) of the German Telecommunications Digital Services Data Protection Act (TDDDG). Google may also process data on servers in the USA. Google LLC is certified under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework, for which the European Commission has adopted an adequacy decision (Article 45 GDPR).

Microsoft Clarity

If you agree to analytics, we also use Microsoft Clarity from Microsoft Ireland Operations Limited, One Microsoft Place, South County Business Park, Leopardstown, Dublin 18, Ireland. Clarity records how you use our pages, such as clicks, scrolling, mouse movements and the pages you view, together with your device, browser and approximate location, which Microsoft determines from your IP address. From this we see heatmaps and recordings of individual visits and find out where the website is hard to use. Entries in forms, such as your name, email address and message, are hidden and not transmitted.

Clarity sets cookies (_clck for up to one year, _clsk for one day) that connect your page views. Recordings are kept for 30 days, heatmaps and marked recordings for up to 13 months.

Microsoft processes this data as an independent controller and, according to its terms of use, also uses it for its own purposes, including improving its products and services and advertising (Microsoft Advertising). We are responsible for embedding Clarity and passing the data to Microsoft; Microsoft is responsible for all further processing. More information is in the Microsoft Privacy Statement: https://www.microsoft.com/privacy/privacystatement

The legal basis is your consent under Article 6(1)(a) GDPR and Section 25(1) of the German Telecommunications Digital Services Data Protection Act (TDDDG). Microsoft may also process data on servers in the USA. Microsoft Corporation is certified under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework, for which the European Commission has adopted an adequacy decision (Article 45 GDPR). You can withdraw your consent at any time under Cookie settings; the Clarity cookies are then deleted.

Contact form and guide download

If you use the contact form, we process your name, email address, product group, target market and the support you need and, if provided, your company, phone number and message in order to handle your inquiry. If you request the guide, we process your email address to provide the download. Data is transmitted to our server and forwarded to us by email; it is not stored on the server. The legal basis is your consent under Article 6(1)(a) GDPR, which you can withdraw at any time by emailing info@eu-representa.com.

Contact by email or phone

If you contact us by email or phone, we store your details to process your request and for follow-up questions. The legal basis is Article 6(1)(b) GDPR (pre-contractual measures) or Article 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in handling inquiries).

Your rights

You have the right to access (Article 15 GDPR), rectification (Article 16), erasure (Article 17), restriction of processing (Article 18), data portability (Article 20) and objection (Article 21). If processing is based on consent, you can withdraw it at any time with effect for the future. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. To exercise your rights, contact info@eu-representa.com.

Retention

We store personal data only as long as necessary for the purposes stated here or as required by statutory retention periods under tax and commercial law.
